ASL Q&A and Errata

ASL Questions
Go here Q&A Submission to MMP but first check to see if your question is answered below.

Advanced Squad Leader (2nd edition) Rules Errata

Official rules errata are published in issues of the ASL Journal and on the MMP website. This list is a collection of all current rules errata that have been published to date (up to and including ASL Journal 6 and the 2005 printing of the 2nd ed. rules). It also includes errata to counters from 1st edition modules and all official scenario errata.

ASL 2nd edition Errata

Please note that some of this errata is available as PDF documents that can be downloaded from the MMP website: either as complete replacement rules pages (that can be printed out to replace in entirety the corresponding rules pages from the rulebook) or designed to allow you to print it out on adhesive-backed paper, cut it out, and "stick" it in your rulebook over the areas in question. The fonts and font size have been duplicated in each instance to allow the cut out corrections to be placed on top of the initial errors. A description of the errata is listed first, followed by the corrected area intended for cutting out (i.e., the rule section as it should now read). Because some of the errata threw off the existing formatting in some areas, some additional material has been reformatted and provided to make sure that all the material fits in the proper space (e.g., B8.61-.63). Please take care to cut as close to the text as possible before applying these in your ASLRB.

Replacement Pages:

Newest Chart and Divider Errata
The following official errata for the ASLRB 2nd Edition (errata almost entirely devoted to the dividers) is being published online to accompany the 2005 reprinting of the 2nd Edition. These errata will be included in ASL Journal #7 when it is published later. They are already included in the full list above, but were corrected in the 2005 reprinting of the rulebook.

Errata Listed in Reprint
The 2005 reprinting of the ASL Rulebook 2nd Edition was unchanged from the original 2nd Edition except that it incorporated the chart and divider errata listed immediately above. Accompanying the reprinting was the following errata (which are already included in the full list above; this is a .pdf download).
