Sice this game is fairly abstract, so's my AAR.
English: Aaron Cleavin. French: Scott Romanowski.
Turn 1. Some stuff happens.
Turn 2. Different stuff happens.
Turn 3. Yet more stuff happens.
WoG has area movement, an abstract feel, and a turn sequence that makes it impossible to play by email. When you add to it a poorly-designed VASSAL module, where it is difficult to move the map around without accidentally changing control of a region or two, and the designer bravely resisting rotating the tall map 90° so you could see more on a monitor, WoG has everything I dislike in a game. I'm very glad MMP didn't get this up on the discount sale in time for me to buy it. Maybe, just maybe, this game may be tolerble if played live.
I conceded after three turns out of boredom.
