Bushy Run Update: The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC) Board of Directors met on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. They have made the following recommendation for Bushy Run Battlefield. They recommend entering into a management agreement with the Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society (BRBHS) to operate the site for a period of up to ten years. BRBHS is cooperatively negotiating with the PHMC to establish terms and an agreement that will help us realize our goal of operating the site and its many events. A full-time maintenance position will remain to assure site operations and site security.
